Royalty-Free+License+Agreement
Terms+and+Conditions

This agreement applies to buyers of stock photo purchases from Gill Couto's online stock photo archive.

Purchasing a stock photo from this online archive is a statement of buyer's agreement to the terms and conditions specified in this document.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, do not make a purchase.

In the event that these terms are revised, the version applicable as the buyer-seller agreement is the version existing at the time of purchase.

Please print a copy of this license agreement for your records.

Copyright+Ownership

Misuse of copyrighted photographs in any form of media against the copyright holder's terms is a violation of copyright laws and can result in legal action taken against any violators.

Buyers and potential buyers understand that purchasing a digital copy of an original photograph is in no way purchasing the copyright to such material.

No transfer of copyright ownership occurs when you purchase an original photo image, the copyright owner is always the original author of a photograph, in this case, Gill Couto is the sole copyright owner.

Unlimited+Use

Purchasing an online photo from Gill Couto grants the buyer to unlimited use as a graphic resource in graphic work created by the buyer.

This agreement grants a buyer all freedoms to use a purchased photo image, without restrictions, for as long as buyer holds purchased image files, in graphic work created by the buyer.

By purchasing an original photo, the buyer is also free of any requirements to recognize the original photographer in any part of derived graphic work.

Also, in no way will the photographer demand recognition of any part of the buyer's final work.

The buyer is also entitled to make backup copies, working copies, modified copies and any other copies required for unhindered creation of graphic works, also including the transmission via private network to other pivately owned backup devices.

Unacceptable+Use

The intent of the sale of photo images is to offer a buyer as much freedom as possible in using an original photograph as a resource for derived works.

Uses of purchased photo images beyond such scope may be considered unacceptable, particularly if they violate or misrepresent the original photographer's copyrights.

Examples of unacceptable uses are not limited to: reselling a photo image, uploading an image to other web, ftp, or any file serving network sites, sharing online or merely making images available via public domain communications networks, submitting for publication, misrepresting the original photographer, claiming to be the original photographer, claiming direct or indirect copyright ownership, and other uses, claims, rights, and recognitions entitled only to the copyright owner.
